Free CV template for digital transformation (Word) – with a complete example

Digital transformation advisors often lose points in tenders on the same issue: the CV describes what they worked on, but not what the change achieved. Clients look for documented benefits – shorter processing times, freed-up full-time equivalents, fewer systems, faster delivery.

What the template contains

How to fill it in

• Start with the requirements in the tender documents, and pick projects that document them
• Write each project as task, your responsibility and result – ideally with a number
• Use the client's terminology instead of internal project names
• Stick to one page: three well-described projects beat twelve superficial ones

The example in the template is Mari Solheim, senior advisor in digital transformation with 11 years of experience from the public sector and finance. Her projects show three typical deliveries in the field: digitalising citizen services, a cloud platform with API strategy, and data-driven management. All names and numbers are fictional.

From template to tailored CV

A Word template is a good starting point, but in practice the CV should be tailored to each bid. If you keep your experience in an experience bank rather than in documents, you choose projects per tender, switch layouts, and export to Word, PDF or PowerPoint – and can translate the whole CV into English when the client requires it.
